A character design I concepted back in 2008, for one of the Game Artisans contests. Kinda inspired by Shaun Healey's work.
The hoodie is demonic, and possesses it's own personality, as does the sword. Donning the hood makes it seem as though the back of the wearers head is gone, and replaced with a massive gullet. And when the sword is not in use, the blade retracts, the handles jaw closes, and the handle can then fit into a pocket.
